Arrival by train

From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station) the R 65 train calls at the stop “TU Lichwiese”. Alternatively, take a train to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof then take bus K which has “TU Lichtwiese” as its final stop.

Arrival by airplane

Frankfurt International Airport is a central hub in Germany and Europe. From the airport there is a bus that goes straight to the Darmstadt main train station: the HEAG-Airliner Shuttle Bus takes only 25 minutes. The bus departs from Bus Stop 14 across the street from the exit doors of Terminal 1 at the airport. The bus usually departs every 1/2 an hour. You can download the timetable here.
From Darmstadt/Hauptbahnhof take Bus K to “TU Lichtwiese”.

Arrival by car

Take the highway exit “Darmstadt” at interchange “Darmstädter Kreuz” and follow the signs for “Stadtmitte”. From there follow the signs “TU-Lichtwiese”.

Location Wind Tunnel

The group Drag and Circulation Control (DCC)is located at the TU Darmstadt Griesheim Campus in buildings W1 (wind tunnel) and W2 (August Euler Airfield).

Arrival by train

From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (main train station) the 9 tram departs from Berliner Allee and goes to Griesheim Flughafenstraße.

Arrival by car

Take the highway exit Darmstadt at interchange Darmstädter Kreuz and follow the signs for Griesheim. From there follow the signs August-Euler-Flugplatz.
