- experimental techniques for the solution of fluid mechanics questions
- introduction to common measuring techniques
- basics of data and signal processing

Advanced Design Project (ADP)
Advanced Design Projects are carried out in collaboration with the Chair of Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics (SLA)
At this moment we do not have an ADP open for registration.
Previous Projects:
- Development of a portable hot-wire calibration facility
- Design of a wind tunnel for atomization experiments
Research Seminar (Forschungsseminar) on Flow Control
Summer Semester
In the summer semester 2011 the research seminar on flow control will be held again.
In the summer semester 2010 a Research Seminar on Flow Control was held in which the following topics were covered:
Circulation Control, Buffet Control, Flow and Load Control on Wind Turbines, Drag Reduction with Structured Surfaces, Feddback Control for Drag Reduction, Drag Reduciton with Polymers, Mixing Control in the Boundary Layer, Manipulation of the Secondary Flow in Turbine Blades, Mechanisms of Transition and Related Control, Sensor Technology for Transition Control
The Research Seminar was accompanied by a CSI Seminar Series on Flow Control:
