How to get to Darmstadt

To Darmstadt coming from the motorway A5 (Frankfurt am Main – Heidelberg/Basel) or A67 (Köln/Wiesbaden – Mannheim), crossing 3 km west of the city, as well as the B3, which takes you along the Bergstrasse.

Frankfurt International Airport is 25 km away and is to reach in about 20 minutes by car on the A5. The shuttle bus “AirLiner” brings you comfortably and without a car from the airport to Darmstadt central station. From there, it is only 5 minutes by tram or bus to Luisenplatz, hub of public transport in the Darmstadt city centre.
How to get to TU Darmstadt – Campus Lichtwiese
At the central station take bus line K to the terminal stop TU Lichtwiese. The ride will take about 15 minutes. The K line can also be taken from the stops Luisenplatz and Schloss.
